"Welcome to Kittytown" will have a unique visual style that differentiates it from other films of the genre. To ensure we are shooting a high quality product, we'll need a diverse team with experienced and eager-to-learn crew. Students are welcome to participate.
Some of the Camera, Lighting and Directing roles we're looking for include:
Director of Photography / Cinematographer (experienced)
Assistant Director (experienced)
Camera Operator (experienced), Camera Operator (inexperienced)
Focus Puller
Clapper/Loader
Key Grip (Lighting and Rigging)
Gaffer (Chief Lighting Technician)
Gaffer's Assistant
Stills Photographer (on the Production Team)
Production Assistant - provides ad-hoc on set assistance to the Directing team. Students welcome.
This team will work together during:
Pre-production. Occasional evenings and weekends to help the team plan.
Production. Seventeen day shoot in September - all day every day - 10 hour days.
Post-Production. Pickups and minor re-shoots if needed - only a few days, likely on the weekend.
This team will be coached and mentored by the film's director Doug Luciuk and the TBH Cinematographer.
